Feeling beautiful is not easy. Especially if you have to juggle your time between your family, your work, or friends. A boudoir photo session may give you the opportunity to focus entirely on yourself.
Pamper yourself with an out-of-the-ordinary experience that will leave you feeling empowered, confident, and in love with your body. It may sound a little too adventurous for so many of us, but hey, we only live once.
I can’t promise you a life-changing experience, but it will be something worth remembering, and guess what, you will have an album full of beautiful and sexy images that you can show to your grandchildren one day. But boudoir photography is not just about creating beautiful and sexy images. Being a man I can’t begin to understand what it means to feel beautiful or sexy. But I have watched the women I photographed and their reactions full of joy and happiness are priceless. It’s what drives me to create those images and capture those moments. Whether you are doing the boudoir shoot for yourself, or as a gift to your partner, this will be a confidence-boosting experience and investment you won’t regret.
Boudoir photography session fee
The session fee covers the following
- Up to 2 hours of photography with multiple wardrobe changes
- Hair and makeup
- Direction and posing to make sure you get the best photos, even if you’ve never been in front of a camera before
- Professional retouching and editing of all images
- Private online image gallery
The boudoir photography session fee does not cover any digital files or print products that can be purchased after the shoot has been processed. You will have 50+ images to choose from.
Use the contact page on my website to get in touch with me. I will get back to you in most cases the same day. We will discuss the preferred day of the shoot and the location. I have a questionnaire which I send to all my clients. In there, among other things, I ask you about the style of boudoir you like the comfort level you have with your body. This information helps me prepare for the session and also makes me aware of the boundaries you are unwilling to cross in terms of posing and directing.
There is also a request about allowing me to use the images on Instagram and my website. There is no requirement to agree to that, of course, but if you do, it would help other women see what to expect from a boudoir session with me.
The boudoir photography session fee needs to be paid to confirm the booking. The fee pays for makeup, the session itself, editing of the images, and the online gallery. Digital images, albums, or prints can be purchased when the final images are uploaded to your private online gallery.
My studio is located in Surry Hills. However, I am happy to take pictures with you at other locations. Your home may be the easiest choice, as you would feel most comfortable there. If you are a visitor from interstate, then your hotel room, or Airbnb apartment could be a good place.
I am a natural light boudoir photographer, so good light is essential to create beautiful images. A large window and curtains in your bedroom may be enough to create a photo studio. If you’re planning to shoot in your own home, please let me know beforehand, so we can discuss the available lighting. Also, if you live far from Sydney, additional travel costs may apply.
Your boudoir photo session starts with a makeup session. After that, we will go over the outfits you brought and choose the most flattering and your favorite ones for the shoot. You will need 2-3 different outfits. These can be your lingerie, of course, but also your favorite t-shirt, loose shirts, jeans, leather jacket. What I suggest is to bring the clothes that make you feel confident and sexy, and we decide what to use during the shoot.
I don’t expect you to know how to pose for boudoir pictures, but more importantly, I don’t want you to worry about it. It is my job to make you look great; all I want from you is to be comfortable and to trust me.
Every one of my photo sessions starts with a chat about posing. I will tell you what makes a great boudoir image, and I will show you what to do. With a few simple rules of glamour posing we can make great art. Of course, I will guide you and direct you during the shoot, as we go from one setup to another.
You don’t have to be a model, and even if you’ve never been photographed before, I am sure that we get some great images of you. So please don’t worry about the session and about the posing and enjoy the experience. I have that covered.
You are in full control of how far you want to push your posing and outfits. Just do what you are comfortable doing. Some boudoir clients want lingerie and no nudity, some ask for much more. It’s your choice.
My photography style involves a play of light and shadows. Choosing the right light and angle can allow us to be more daring in our posing without revealing too much. I do make suggestions as to what may look good, but ultimately you’re in full control.
I may take hundreds of images during our photoshoot. That is the fun part of being a photographer. The job starts with selecting the best images from the session. I expect to get at least 50 great shots and I will show you every photograph that I think you may like.
All the images I select will be uploaded to your private, password-protected online gallery. From there you can choose the number of images you’d like to purchase. You can get just a few pictures or the entire collection; It’s up to you.
I do recommend getting a nice professional photo album as a home for your boudoir images. I use a supplier that creates great quality albums at a very reasonable price. I’ll design the album myself and if you choose to get one, you will receive a copy within 4 weeks from the day you sign off on the final design. Photo albums are optional, of course, but they do look beautiful.
You can also order framed prints or canvas enlargements. These images I will enlarge in photoshop to the desired size. I’ll get them professionally printed by a company that offers 75 years quality guarantee. In other words, they are pretty good at what they do.
